Stihl’s HS 45 two stroke petrol hedge trimmer is the lightest that I have seen over the years. It’s not just light its well balanced, so when in action there is less strain on your arms and upper body. At Aps we have serviced hundreds of other branded hedge trimmers and they are not close to the Stihl HS 45 hedge trimmer. HS 45 has many other features that make user friendly.

How do you start a petrol hedge trimmer?
To start a two stroke petrol hedge trimmer you would first make sure that you have the correct petrol mixture ie adding HP engine oil 50:1 ratio before you pour it into the fuel tank. Once you have done that make sure that the on/off switch is in the correct position and the choke lever is in the correct position. Okay now we can begin first pump the primer bulb a few times then you can begin pulling the recoil until you hear a cough then you flick the choke lever off, pump the primer a few more times and re-pull the recoil which then you will hear the two stroke engine kick in.
