Delivery Information

Below you will find details of the delivery options available here at APS Garden Machinery.  Please be aware the delivery times stated below exclude bank holidays. Additionally, during exceptionally busy periods, to maintain our high levels of service, we may not offer Express Delivery options in our checkout.

National Delivery:

Please note we currently only offer delivery to Mainland United Kingdom. If you are interested in ordering from us but are not within Mainland United Kingdom, please contact our team who will be happy to assist you.

Local Delivery Postcodes:

Below are the prefixes for relevant postcodes considered to be ‘Local’ to our branches, and therefore qualify for our Local Delivery options.

We want your order to arrive safely and as smoothly as possible. Please read the following delivery information before placing your order.

Dispatching Your Order

Orders are normally dispatched once all items in your order are in stock and ready to ship. If you need certain items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders, as we may not be able to part-dispatch an order.

Delivery & Access

It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery where required and that you tell us about any access restrictions that could affect delivery to your property.

This may include narrow roads, restricted access, gates, low bridges, unsuitable surfaces or any other circumstances that could prevent the delivery vehicle from reaching your address.

If delivery cannot be completed because of access restrictions, nobody being available where attendance is required, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, a redelivery or additional carriage charge may apply. We will let you know about any additional charges where applicable.

Safe-Place Deliveries

If you would like your parcel left in a safe place, you can add delivery instructions at checkout or, where available, make a safe-place request directly with the courier.

We will pass relevant delivery instructions to the courier where possible, but safe-place requests cannot be guaranteed.

If you choose to have your order left in a safe place or make this request directly with the courier, you accept responsibility for the parcel once it has been delivered in accordance with those instructions. We cannot accept liability for loss, theft or damage occurring after a parcel has been left in your nominated safe place.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may vary depending on the size and weight of your order, the delivery destination and the type of product being delivered.

Certain machinery, ride-on mowers, accessories or deliveries outside our usual delivery area may require an additional carriage charge.

If an additional delivery charge becomes necessary after your order has been placed, we will contact you before proceeding and will only apply the additional charge with your agreement.

Machinery Deliveries

Some machinery is tested or inspected before dispatch. As a result, small amounts of residual fuel or oil may occasionally be present.

Certain machines may also be carefully repackaged after inspection, assembly or testing to ensure they are suitably protected for transport.

Missing or Damaged Items

Please inspect your delivery as soon as reasonably possible after it arrives.

If an item is missing or appears to have been damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Where possible, please keep the original packaging and take photographs of any visible damage, as these may help us investigate the issue with the courier.
