It is personal choice as to when you have you machinery serviced, the most common times are at the end of the cutting season or before the next season starts so that your equipment is ready for use when you are, there is nothing worse than getting your mower out in say March standing in wet grass up to your knees and finding it won’t start or the height adjuster won’t adjust etc. Servicing should be carried out after every 25 hours of use or once a year whichever comes first, these are the manufacturer guidelines. If you have not had a service for more than a year you are overdue.
