The best battery chainsaw by far on the market is Stihl MSA 200 C-B as it matches with the middle range of any petrol chainsaw, as shown in my video. It is ideal for general gardeners use to cut small trees and light tree trimming. It is also ideal for cutting decent size logs for your home fire. Stihl MSA 200 C-B battery Chainsaw is practical and easy to use. The days of pulling the recoil until you go blue in the face with the heavily smell of two stroke fumes bellowing is long gone with just having to recharge the AP lithium-ion Battery and squeeze the trigger, can not be any less stressful. Here at Aps our helpful friendly staff offer a one to one service to make sure that you are comfortable with the chainsaw.

How long is the warranty for a battery Stihl chainsaw?
Stihl offer a two year warranty for their battery chainsaw unit and their lithium-ion battery. In general battery products are still in transition and we can feel nervous on moving towards certain products, however the battery chainsaws, strimmers, blowers, lawnmowers etc has been on the market for years and now is getting more popular.

Do I have to service a Stihl MSA 200 C-B battery Chainsaw?
All Battery Chainsaws need servicing in a way that you can do at home more than it needs to be done at a nearest Stihl dealer. All you need to do is to keep your Stihl MSA 200 C-B battery chainsaw in a good condition is to keep the sprocket and chain area clean from all wood dust chippings etc, so there isn’t much strain on the electric motor. Also it is very important to either keep the present chain sharp by sharpening the chain regular, as you would do with your kitchen knifes or replace it. This again will prevent any strain to the electric motor. Going back to your question servicing, you would need to drop off your battery chainsaw to a nearest Stihl dealer so they can check the bearings and other components to replace or re-grease every few years as long as you have kept your TLC to your battery chainsaw.
