The STIHL ADA 1000 Double Battery Slot Adapter is a versatile and lightweight power solution designed for professional cordless leaf blowing and lawn mowing. It allows the use of up to two STIHL AP batteries, providing extended runtime and reduced operator fatigue without the need for a backpack battery system.

Designed as a practical alternative to the AR 2000 L and AR 3000 L backpack batteries, the ADA 1000 features two AP battery slots compatible with all AP series batteries. With automatic battery switchover, the adapter seamlessly changes to the second battery once the first is depleted, ensuring uninterrupted operation during demanding jobs.

Weighing just 5.5 kg when fitted with two AP 300 S batteries, the ADA 1000 is significantly lighter than traditional backpack batteries. This makes it ideal for long working periods, especially when paired with high-output machines such as the STIHL BGA 300 leaf blower.

When used with the recommended AR 3000 L battery, the BGA 300 weighs approximately 16.9 kg. Switching to the ADA 1000 with two AP 500 S batteries reduces the total weight to around 13.3 kg, greatly improving comfort and reducing strain on the operator’s back. For further weight reduction, the adapter can also be operated with a single AP battery, allowing flexibility depending on required runtime.
