The STIHL FSA 80 R is a battery powered brushcutter designed for mowing, cutting & clearing even the toughest of jobs in your garden. The FSA 80 R has low noise emissons- perfect for homes in built up areas.

The STIHL FSA 80 R Fitted with a new style loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes mowing on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. The FSA 80 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for mowing thicker grass, which will use more of the battery energy.

The FSA 80 R is supplied with a Basic Harness and the Autocut 27-2 as standard, but can also be fitted with the TrimCut, DuroCut, PolyCut and GrassCut cutting tools.

Tool Monitoring With The Smart Connector

INTEGRATION INTO STIHL CONNECTED. The tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.

EC Motor

LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

Power Levels

PERFORMANCE SUITABLE FOR THE TASK. You can set 2 different power levels on the handle. Level 1, is Eco mode, which has reduced power to extend the battery life. Level 2 allows you to use the full power of the tool

Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

Tool-Free Adjustable Loop Handle

The optimised geometry of the loop handle gives plenty of freedom to manoeuvre and precise guidance of your power tool in different mowing situations.
