The John Deere X950R Commercial Hi-Dump Rear Collector 48" Garden Ride on Lawnmower mowing tractor thrives on hard work. This Rear Discharge Rear Collect model has a rugged steel frame and mower deck for years of trouble-free service. The high-torque diesel engine and heavy duty wheel motors can power across tough terrain all day and thanks to great ergonomics and intuitive controls, so can operators!

PERFORMANCE

The X950R is a robust, diesel-powered cut-and-collect commercial lawn tractor. It is designed for use in commercial applications.

The clear and open design of the X950R operator’s platform allows the operator to easily get on and off the tractor. Its comfortable seat and foot positioning, the adjustable steering wheel, together with the intuitive controls, let the operator concentrate on the task at hand. A tight uncut circle, the tail follows trail concept and the mower deck trimming on both sides ensure increased productivity by reducing the amount of maneuvers required to cover a mowing area.

Deck wheels with quick release

Spring-loaded mower wheel height-adjusting pins are convenient to use. They maintain the correct height of cut instead of scalping the turf in uneven terrain.

Left-hand blade gearbox

The deck drive is a combination of double straight-line belts, drive shafts, commercial-grade gearboxes, and iron spindle housings to guarantee reliability. No oil service is needed, gearboxes include lifetime oil volume.

Wide discharge chute for direct

The combination of a redesigned deck, a wide collection chute, and large collection hopper results in a best-in-class collection performance machine. The clean design of the stamped deck ensures best possible grass flow. The wide chute is designed to smoothly transport the grass to the rear of the collection hopper for a high fill rate. The built-in cleaning flap helps to keep the chute clean when mowing in more difficult conditions. The lever to control the flap is conveniently located on the right fender for easy operation

Locking the frame whilst the collection hopper is open

If the collection hopper needs cleaning or service while raised, it can be locked in seconds using the foldable lock brackets.

Leg room on operator station

Seat has convenient tilt-back feature

If the deluxe seat is chosen, this two-piece, professional high-back seat has a thick seat cushion for lasting comfort, even after a full day of use. The back can be angled in multiple positions to maximize operator comfort by using a convenient lever on the side. A seat suspension slide rail fore-aft adjustment is provided to optimize operator comfort.

Operating elements of the X950R

All controls are located within reach on the dashboard and on the right fender. Controls are designed for ease of use. The ergonomic shapes of the controls allow the driver to focus on the task at hand instead of searching for the controls during operation.
