The STIHL HSA 40 Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a lightweight and easy-to-use battery hedge trimmer, perfect for maintaining small to medium-sized hedges in home gardens. Ideal for trimming box hedges, shrubs and annual hedge growth, the HSA 40 combines excellent cutting performance with quiet, comfortable cordless operation.
Part of the STIHL AS System, the HSA 40 is powered by removable AS 2 lithium-ion batteries, which can also be used with other compatible STIHL AS System tools. This set includes 2x STIHL AS 2 batteries and an AL 1 charger, giving you everything you need to get started.
Designed with excellent balance and a lightweight construction, the HSA 40 makes regular hedge maintenance comfortable and effortless. A convenient battery charge indicator lets you quickly check the remaining power while you work.
The HSA 40 features a 50 cm double-sided cutting blade with laser-cut, diamond-ground hardened blades for clean and precise trimming. With an 8 mm cutting capacity and around 25% more cutting performance than the HSA 30, it provides plenty of power for routine garden hedge maintenance. A built-in tip protector helps protect the cutting blade when working close to walls, fences and the ground.
With up to 40 minutes runtime on a full charge, the STIHL HSA 40 battery hedge trimmer is an excellent choice for homeowners looking for a lightweight, quiet and reliable cordless hedge trimmer for keeping their garden neat and tidy.

Led Charge-Level Indicator

Two Handed Design
The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control, for a fine and precise cut. The two handed design is suitable for both left and right-handed users.
