The RMA 448 RV from STIHL is a battery-powered self-propelled lawn mower with a rear roller designed for users looking to cut medium-sized to large lawns at home. it’s a lightweight and quiet mower that is fitted with innovative key features that make this the ideal choice for gardeners at home.

The rear roller of the RMA 448 RV is made from durable polymer material to help you achieve the perfect stripe in your garden. The lawn mower is built with a rugged polymer deck that is lightweight, rust proof and double layered for additional stability. It’s UV resistant, has a 46 cm cutting width and single point height adjustment that is adjustable between 15 – 60 mm. The RMA 448 RV is part of the AK System range of tools and is powered by an AK 30 S battery that is interchangeable with other machines across the range. There are two slots in the powerhead for two AK batteries, so when the first runs out of power you can quickly switch to the second. On a full charge with the recommended AK 30 S battery you will be able to mow lawns up to 340 m2.

The RMA 448 RV has different ways of mowing. No additional tools are required but we do recommend you refer to the owner’s manual before working. You can either:

• Cut & collect with the grass catcher box fitted
• Mulch by switching it to mulch mode

The comfort mono-handlebar allows easy access to the grass catcher box, making it easier to remove and empty when it’s full – plus, thanks to the fill level indicator on the grass catcher box you’ll know exactly when to empty the box too! The 52-litre grass catcher box is ergonomically designed and easy to fully open for fast emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use. The mono-handlebar has also has a 10 year warranty too.

Height-Adjustable Comfort Handlebar

Folding Grass Collection Box

EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

Vario Self-Drive

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.
