RMA 453 PV Cordless Lawn Mower For Large Lawns, With Variable Speed Drive
The STIHL RMA 453 PV is a battery powered lawnmower designed for larger lawns. This mower is quiet and has plenty of power making it an ideal choice for gardeners working in built up areas. The RMA 453 PV has a polymer deck that is light weight, rust proof and double layered for additional stability. Its UV resistant too! It has a single-lever point height adjuster that is adjustable between 20-100mm.
This lawnmower is fitted with a sequential battery discharge, which means it will automatically switch over when one battery runs out of power, it will switch to the other battery. On full charge (we recommend the APS300S) you will be able to mow lawns up to 450m2 which becomes 900m2 when the mower is used with both batteries.

The RMA 453 PV has 4 different ways of mowing. No additional tools are required but we do recommend you refer to the owner’s manual before working. You can either:
- Cut & collect with the grass catcher box fitted
- Cut & drop by removing the grass catcher box
- Side discharge with the flap that is integrated into the deck
- Mulch with the multi-blade and mulching attachment
The RMA 453 PV has a built in electronic interface on the handlebar which shows battery charge levels, ability to switch between mowing modes and motor speed levels. The 55 litre grass box has a fill level indicator, so you will know exactly when to empty! The RMA 453 PV has a 5 year domestic warranty. The mono-handlebar also has a 10 year domestic warranty too.
