The STIHL RT 4097 SX dedicated side-discharge mower is ideal for lawns up to 600m2. Perfect for Large areas such as less formal lawns like paddocks and fields. This mower can also gives you an option to also mulch. The RT 4097 SX is very compact in size and extremely practical. With the single pedal drive you can simply switch driving directions using the hand lever, which makes it easy to manoeuvre, even in more confined gardens.The low step and ample legroom provide a high degree of driving comfort at all times. The driver's seat can be adjusted tool-free and, like the ergonomically shaped steering wheel and the easily accessible controls, supports relaxed working.

Electromagnetic Blade Clutch
The mowing deck can be easily engaged and disengaged by a switch situated on the control panel.
Mower Unit With Side Discharge
Mowing with side discharge allows large lawns to be mown in a short time. This is due to the clippings being ejected directly onto the lawn and not having to empty a grass catcher box.
Turf Tyres
The large turf tyres of the STIHL ride-on mower help to protect the lawn. Thanks to their rounded tyre design, they reduce the formation of driving tracks.
Central Cut-Height Adjustment For Ride On Mowers
.The lever to adjust the deck cutting height is located directly next to the driver's seat. It enables individual adjustment of the cutting height in up to eight steps.

Mulching Function
MOW AND FERTILISE IN A SINGLE STEP. The mulching function saves you having to dispose of cuttings and lets you fertilise your lawn naturally. The mulching blades shred the cut grass into small particles which are then automatically distributed evenly over the turf.
Spring Loaded And Adjustable Seat
.The most comfortable seat position can be set without the use of tools. This allows individual adjustment of the driver's seat to almost any body size.
Low Step
The low step on the STIHL ride-on mowers provides ample legroom and allows for comfortable access to the seat.
Catching Management System
The catching system guides the grass blades across the entire working width of the mowing deck. It helps to guide the grass towards the mowing blades for a more efficient cut.
Single Pedal Drive
With the STIHL single pedal drive, the direction of travel can be conveniently switched between forward and reverse gear using a hand lever for quick manoeuvring. The pressure-sensitive pedal allows for precise control of the speed between top speed and standstill. The separate brake pedal ensures immediate stopping.
