In sequential charging mode, the charger supplies up to 42 A to a single battery, allowing compatible batteries to recharge rapidly. Under optimal conditions, a STIHL AP 300 S battery can reach 80% charge in approximately 15 minutes, helping keep professional equipment operating throughout the day.
Intelligent Dual Charging System
The AL 1802 MO automatically selects the most efficient charging method depending on how batteries are inserted.
When two batteries are connected within five seconds, the charger activates parallel charging mode, supplying 21 A to each battery simultaneously for maximum throughput.
If the second battery is inserted later, the charger switches to sequential charging mode, delivering the full 42 A charging current to one battery before automatically charging the second. This intelligent charging system gives professionals the flexibility to prioritise either the fastest single-battery charging or efficient dual-battery charging.
Active Battery Cooling
To protect batteries during high-speed charging, the STIHL AL 1802 MO features an integrated active cooling system.
By continuously regulating battery temperature throughout the charging process, active cooling helps reduce heat build-up, improve charging efficiency and support longer battery service life during intensive professional use.
