HLA 150 B Cordless Telescopic Adjustable Long-reach Hedge Trimmer
The STIHL HLA 150 B Cordless Telescopic Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer is built for professional landscapers, grounds maintenance teams and demanding gardeners who need outstanding cutting performance on tall and wide hedges. Powered by the STIHL AP Battery System, this 36V cordless hedge trimmer combines powerful performance with low noise and low vibration, making it ideal for all-day use in residential areas, commercial landscapes and public spaces.
Featuring a telescopic shaft that extends from 207cm to 332cm, the HLA 150 allows you to safely trim hedges over 4 metres high without the need for ladders. The 60cm (24") laser-cut, double-sided, diamond-ground blades deliver fast, clean cuts, while the friction-optimised blade design improves cutting efficiency and helps maximise battery runtime.
The adjustable cutter head offers an impressive 145° working range, making it easy to trim hedge tops, sides and awkward angles with precision. Meanwhile, the high-performance brushless EC motor delivers blade speeds of up to 4,000rpm, with three selectable speed settings (3,200, 3,600 and 4,000rpm), allowing you to adapt cutting performance to different hedge types and working conditions.
Designed with comfort in mind, the STIHL HLA 150 offers excellent balance, an ergonomic control handle suitable for both left- and right-handed users, and an integrated anti-lock system that automatically reverses the blade if it becomes jammed on thicker branches. As a result, you can work more efficiently with fewer interruptions.
For added convenience, the cutter head folds flat for easier transport and storage, while the IPX4-rated construction provides reliable performance in rain and wet weather conditions. When paired with the recommended STIHL AP 30 battery, the HLA 150 delivers up to 107 minutes of runtime, making it an excellent choice for demanding professional hedge maintenance.

Power Boost
The MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.handy telescopic shaft can be extended from 260cm to 330cm. Simple shaft length adjustments are made using the quick release mechanism.
