The STIHL RMA 7 RV Cordless Mulching Lawn Mower is a powerful, professional-grade battery-powered lawn mower designed for professional landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and demanding commercial lawn care. Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP Battery System, this heavy-duty 72V cordless lawn mower operates using two ALLPRO/AP batteries, delivering outstanding mowing performance comparable to STIHL's professional RM 756 petrol lawn mower range.
Built for demanding professional use, the STIHL RMA 7 RV features a robust 51cm cutting width and a durable aluminium mower deck with a protective polymer inner casing. The powder-coated aluminium construction offers excellent corrosion resistance, while replaceable metal scuff strips and polymer lining help extend the mower's working life. Its individual wheel cutting-height adjustment, ranging from 25mm to 100mm, allows precise mowing across different grass conditions and uneven terrain.
Designed for maximum versatility, the RMA 7 RV professional cordless mower offers mulching and side-discharge mowing, allowing operators to choose the most suitable cutting method for the job. It also features an 80-litre fabric grass collection box with a sturdy steel frame, carrying handle, polymer base and tear-resistant fabric for efficient grass collection when required.
The integrated electronic control interface on the mono-comfort handlebar provides convenient access to battery charge information, motor speed settings and three mowing modes: Eco, Standard and Auto-Boost. The Vario self-propelled drive offers five selectable speed levels, with a travel speed of up to 6km/h, helping operators maintain a comfortable working pace across large lawns and challenging terrain.
For improved comfort and practicality, the height-adjustable mono-comfort handlebar provides excellent manoeuvrability and convenient access to the grass collection box. The handlebar can also be folded for compact transport and storage.
Recommended with STIHL ALLPRO/AP 300 P or AP 300 PC batteries mow areas of up to 930m², depending on battery configuration and working conditions. Its powerful cordless performance makes it an excellent alternative to a petrol mower for professional landscaping, commercial grounds maintenance, estate management and large lawn care.

Power Boost
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
Constant Power
CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.
Height-Adjustable Comfort Handle
COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The mono-comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.
Vario Self-Drive
FOR INDIVIDUAL SPEED ADJUSTMENT. Vario wheel drive allows you to adjust the speed of your lawn mower to suit your personal mowing habits and grass conditions. The mowing speed can be adjusted on a an infinitely variable basis via the control lever on the handlebar.
Cut-Height Adjustment On Each Wheel
FOR FLEXIBLE ADAPTATION TO THE TERRAIN. The stable, smooth-running cut-height adjustment allows you to adjust each wheel of your lawn mower individually. This enables the greatest possible flexibility in adapting to the respective terrain.
Aluminium Housing
LIGHTWEIGHT AND VERY RESISTANT. The aluminium housing is pleasantly lightweight and yet very stable. Its low weight makes your work easier, while the powder-coated surface ensures the housing is also protected against external influences. These properties also increase the service life and durability of the power tool.
Eco Mode
ENERGY-EFFICIENT WORKING. When you activate Eco mode, the speed of your tool’s motor automatically adapts to the power you actually need. This means that your battery-powered tool consumes less energy and you can work for longer before the battery needs to be recharged.
Digital HMI
WELL-INFORMED WORK. The display and controls on the handle bar of your lawn mower inform you of the charge level of the batteries, the working mode you have selected, the maximum speed setting and possible faults thanks to several indicators. This allows you to see at a glance what is necessary to work effectively at all times. In addition, you can use the HMI to make changes to settings such as the driving speed or mowing mode.
IPX4 Certified
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
